Leanne Cardenas – Missionary with Team El Salvador
We are so very excited to have Miss Leanne join our team this coming fall. She spent a year here in El Salvador with us during 2015 and was a HUGE blessing working as secretary in our Christian School and serving 100% in the church and seminary ministries. She has a heart for God and a heart to serve. She saw several young ladies saved and baptized during that year as well as discipling several others. We know that God is going to use her in marvelous ways as she serves alongside of us here in Cojutepeque.
Her focus is going to be outreach secretary for the Emmanuel Bptist Church, discipleship and investment in young ladies, and right-hand help for Miss Esther.
If you are interested in supporting this servant of God, please send support directly to Lancaster Baptist Church as her sending agency with her name or to our BIMI account #1402 at which time we will make sure she receives it.
Leanne was raised in Lancaster, California. She was saved at the age of 11 when the Lord led her and her family to Lancaster Baptist Church. She was 16 when the Lord called her to full-time ministry. A few years later while she was finishing up her last year at West Coast Baptist College, she surrendered her life to missions during a missions conference. After seeking counsel from her Spanish Pastor, Carlos Navarrete, the Lord directed her to serve in Cojutepeque, El Salvador as an intern for a year in 2015.
After having served faithfully during that year, the Lord led her back to Lancaster where she had the privilege of working on staff as a administrative assistant at Lancaster Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Paul Chappell and Pastor Carlos Navarrete. The Lord continued to prepare her by working for the outreach ministry, discipleship ministry, and the adult Sunday school groups.
The Lord has not only prepared her with various ministry opportunities over the years, but has allowed her heart for missions to remain.
With the support of Lancaster Baptist Church, Leanne is excited to be used by God while serving Him in Cojutepeque, El Salvador. It is her desire to honor God first with her life and to see souls saved and to love the people in the Emmanuel Baptist Church.
